Earlier there was an auction that I would have loved to attend. I am envious of the tycoons who now possess the forty something items of clothing and accessories that once belonged to Audrey Hepburn, whose fashion sense and charitable nature has influenced so many of us. The auction apparently earned more than 260,000 pounds, half of which went to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. I find myself wondering why only half, but I guess most of us can only bring ourselves to give so much.
