I am rolling out into new territory.
Wow, took me long enough, but I finally got some stuff listed in my etsy shop. So far only a few items, but I am starting to get the feel for it. I will try to get it filled out more this weekend, cus I really need the closet space :) I am still a little daunted by the shipping, it scares me a bit. I have never shipped anything, so I was compulsively checking shipping prices and comparing, and checking and comparing. As you can tell this went on for a while since I was planning to set up shop at the beginning of the year. Hopefully, things will go smoothly and I can drum up some business.

Good luck! Shipping gets much easier once you've done it a few times. I stick to flat rate envelopes and boxes from the USPS. Same price no matter what the weight, and US deliveries average 2-3 days.

ReplyDeleteHey Aja, Your blog looks great! You are gorgeous btw. As far as shipping goes, the post office has the APC or automated postal center. It is great! Just take in your box that is already sealed up, put it on the scale at the APC, type the zip code and the type of shipping and it prints out a sticker for you right there. If you make the transaction through paypal, you can print off a shipping label and tape it to your box. Then you can request a 'pick up' from the USPS. I hope this helps!
